Recently, nine North Korean refugee youth were repatriated to North Korea by the Laotian government. Their fate as “political criminals” will likely include torture, interrogations, being sentenced to imprisonment in a concentration camp, or even execution. Justice for North Korea has begun a campaign called “Save My Friends Before Christmas”, in which we are petitioning the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety and freedom of the nine North Korean youth before Christmas 2013.
The online petition to the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety of the nine North Korean youth before Christmas can be found here: http://www.change.org/en-CA/ petitions/to-the-republic-of- korea-s-ministry-of-foreign- affairs-ensure-the-safety-of- the-nine-repatriated-north- korean-youth-before-christmas

Until North Korea smartens up and starts treating its citizens better, EVERY SINGLE other country around the world has a moral obligation to ensure the health and safety of innocent North Koreans by NOT repatriating them back to that horrible country. HUMAN RIGHTS IS A WORLD ISSUE! IT IS *EVERYONE’S* ISSUE!!

We all must endeavour to shine light on the depraved, seething, totalitarian hypocracy that darkly writhes in the blind spot under our very noses.
