Recently, nine North Korean refugee youth were repatriated to North Korea by the Laotian government. Their fate as “political criminals” will likely include torture, interrogations, being sentenced to imprisonment in a concentration camp, or even execution. Justice for North Korea has begun a campaign called “Save My Friends Before Christmas”, in which we are petitioning the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety and freedom of the nine North Korean youth before Christmas 2013.
The online petition to the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the safety of the nine North Korean youth before Christmas can be found here: http://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/to-the-republic-of-korea-s-ministry-of-foreign-affairs-ensure-the-safety-of-the-nine-repatriated-north-korean-youth-before-christmas
